The Health and Counseling Center is located on the first floor of Keuka Commons and is open Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. The Center provides assessment and treatment of common and emergency health and emotional concerns. Whatever your concern may be, we can help.
The Counseling Center offers personal mental health counseling to enrolled students free of charge. Some common concerns may include but are not limited to: anxiety, depression, grief/loss, and abuse. To schedule an appointment with one of our licensed professionals please contact (315) 279-5368.
For health assistance, students are asked to call ahead to (315) 279-5368 or stop in the office to schedule an appointment with a nurse practitioner. We bill insurance for these visits, so students need to bring their insurance cards with them when they come.
If your insurance is considered “out of network,” or you need a referral to receive services in our health office, you must make these arrangements prior to your appointment in our office.
A nurse practitioner can call in prescriptions to area pharmacies. We work with several pharmacies in Penn Yan that will deliver prescriptions or over-the-counter medication to campus for a small fee once you have made payment arrangements.
Coronavirus Health Services
The Health and Counseling Center is one of your potential resources if you have concerns about the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. If you develop symptoms for COVID-19, contact the center by calling (315) 279-5368 or, if it is off-hours, contact one of the regional health agencies listed below.
You are also advised to monitor your symptoms, try to stay away from others, stay in your room, don’t go to class or otherwise travel, and let your RA know that you are ill and may need meals delivered to your room.
All of the College's health and counseling services surrounding the pandemic can be found on the "KC Together & Ready" resources page.
