Register Your Device

Register Your Device

This guide will help get your personal device connected to the network through the My Devices portal.

The My Devices portal is designed to accommodate the other devices you use regularly, such as Smart TVs and gaming consoles. Each user can connect up to 5 devices wirelessly to My Devices.

For gaming devices, if you have the ability to connect via an Ethernet cable, this is always the best option. Connecting via an Ethernet cable does not require registration on My Devices.

The basic steps are as follows:

  • Locate the Wireless MAC address for your Device.
  • Register your device at http://mydevices.keuka.edu
  • Connect your device to the Keuka College network

Locate the Wireless MAC Address

Each MAC address is specific to the device. You will have separate MAC addresses for each method of connection. My Devices needs the Wireless MAC address.

Although devices vary by manufacturer, the Wifi MAC address will usually be located within the Settings then Network section and takes the form of an alphanumeric code such as: AA:BB:CC:11:22:33 (or aabbcc112233) Contact the Help Desk if you need assistance finding this on your device.
