Any person may report gender and sex-based harassment and sexual misconduct, whether or not the person reporting is the alleged victim.
Individuals subject to gender and sex-based harassment or sexual misconduct have the right to make an incident report with Keuka College’s Office of Campus Safety, local law enforcement, New York State Police, or Keuka College’s Title IX Coordinator. Reporting an incident can lead to protection from retaliation, and assistance and resources from the College. Individuals may choose not to report an incident.

Anonymously
Individuals can make anonymous reports and/or anonymously receive information about options and resources by calling the Title IX Coordinator at (315) 279-5477 without providing identifying information. Individuals can also anonymously disclose via the Online Sexual Misconduct Reporting Form.

Amnesty for Students
The health and safety of every student at Keuka College are of the utmost importance. Keuka College realizes that students who have been drinking and/or using drugs (whether such use is voluntary or involuntary) at the time that sexual harassment or violence – including but not limited to domestic violence, dating violence, stalking, or sexual assault – occurs may be hesitant to report such incidents due to fear of potential consequences for their own conduct. Keuka College strongly encourages students to report sexual harassment, domestic violence, dating violence, stalking, or sexual assault to College officials.
An individual acting in good faith in reporting an incident of sexual harassment, domestic violence, dating violence, stalking, or sexual assault to Keuka College officials or law enforcement will not be subject to the College's Code of Conduct action for violations of alcohol and/or drug use policies occurring at or near the time of the commission of the sexual harassment, domestic violence, dating violence, stalking, or sexual assault.
What Happens After a Report is Made?
The Title IX Coordinator will provide outreach to the complainant of reports of gender and sex-based harassment and sexual misconduct if the person's identity is known. This is typically done by email with a generic text telling the complainant they have an email from Keuka College. If the complainant decides to meet with the Title IX Coordinator, the Title IX Coordinator will provide the complainant with resources including supportive measures and resolution options. It is important to note procedures provided to individuals who have experienced gender and sex-based harassment and sexual misconduct the ability to provide and give input on how their issue is handled.
