Keuka College will celebrate experiential learning in all its forms when doors open for this year’s Keuka College Expo (KCx) on Friday and Saturday, May 3-4.

The expo, which debuted last year to highlight the College community’s many scholarly and creative achievements, will once again showcase student, staff, and faculty accomplishments and highlight the College’s signature Field Period® program with presentations, displays, posters, panels, talks, and other examples of College-related experiential learning.

More than 120 students have registered to take part, along with faculty and staff members.

Organized by the Center for Experiential Learning & Career Engagement, KCx will take place in the lower level of the College’s Lightner Library. Among the scheduled events:

Friday (4:30-7 p.m.) Welcoming address, keynote speaker state Sen. Jake Ashby ’02, and opening reception from 6-7 p.m.

Saturday (9 a.m.-2 p.m.) Poster displays, short-form presentations, roundtable discussions, and art displays. Honors for outstanding contributions will be announced.

“This event is a testament to the value of experiential learning,” said Dean of Experiential Learning & Career Engagement Ann Emo.

The entire weekend is free and open to the public.
