Admissions Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in Social Work (BSW) from a CSWE-accredited institution within the past six years, or successful completion of Keuka College's MSW Foundations year. 
  • A cumulative minimum grade point average (GPA) or 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
  • A "B+" or better in all undergraduate Social Work courses.
  • A "C" or better in writing, statistics, and human biology courses.

The hands-on clinical placement is one of the most exciting and rewarding aspects of the MSW program.

There are countless exciting opportunities for clinical placements in and around Rochester. The MSW Field Director will work with you to tailor your field experience to reflect your educational goals, desired practice specialty, and scheduling requests to the fullest extent possible. 

Your clinical placement will provide you with 500 hours of real-world, hands-on experience. And your professors, the MSW Field Director, and your field supervisor will be there to help you each step of the way.
